Rebecca Taylor Aesthetics is an aesthetic and skin clinic based in Newmarket, Suffolk.
The brief was to create a small site with a big impact, which embraced glamour and gave a nod to the ‘star treatments’ available at the clinic. The site is one of our popular starter small website package, yet features all the latest design features. The client, Rebecca, also wanted an additional ecommerce element, to sell a small collection of her own skin products.

Rebecca Taylor Aesthetics isn’t just a skin clinic. Rebecca herself has branched into her own line of skincare, and requested we add an ecommerce element to the site where clients could purchase her expanding new range. There’s also the option to shop by category, so as the line grows, clients can refine their searches. Finally, Rebecca is able to add her own products (and product category pages) herself, without great expense or waiting time.
Adding a shop is a fantastic way to make profits out of clinic opening hours and build additional revenue, and we can scale the design up or down depending on needs and budget. Loyal clients to your clinic can also make repeat purchases without the need to book an otherwise unnecessary appointment.
Finally, integrating the products into the homepage makes the shop central to the clinic’s business and brand.
Built in popular WordPress, the site can be easily updated by Rebecca and her team. While our clients like the option of managing their site themselves once built, WordPress allows flexibility – so if a clinic needs to focus on their own clients, our team at Cosmetic Digital can perform any updates and tweaks where needed.
Secure online payment
We’re experienced in a number of different payment gateways and discussed the right fit for Rebecca’s site. Our secure online payment system uses a trusted SSL certificate – ensuring everything is encrypted, so any card details in the system are scrambled. Payment can even be taken from American Express, which small businesses don’t always offer. Finally, just 25p per product plus a small percentage is charged per transaction, making this addition excellent value for money.
Rebecca asked us to incorporate a live review platform, whereby client reviews are streamed and uploaded direct to the site, so we introduced a smart widget feature. Reviews are a key way to build trust with your client – and are essential to help market Rebecca’s new line of skincare.
Making the site look as sophisticated and contemporary as possible was important to Rebecca. Not only did we handle all the photography, but we also gave it a muted palette with metallic hints to capture that glamorous feel.
