ATS Conference came to Cosmetic Digital (Was H&P Design) wanting a redesign of their current website which was dated and not relevant to today’s web environment. ATS Conference is an event solutions company that offers a wide range of interactive voting systems to help you engage with your audience in live and virtual settings. Their industry and product all lend themselves to being at the forefront of technology and design and they wanted a website to reflect this.
Due to the nature of the company’s product and industry, the content of the site is quite text heavy with item descriptions and also technical specifications. To combat this, we created a design that is full width to make the page look bigger and surrounded it with white space and a lighter choice of font colour.
We have used images with bright content and detail to balance the large quantities of text throughout the site. Photographs of case study exhibitions, report graphics and the products give extra detail and make the website more engaging. We’ve also included icons into the site links and navigation – a quick visual way for users to identify where to go to get to the information they require.
The website is built using a WordPress theme that we have redesigned to suit the brand and content layout. The site is fully responsive, which means that it adapts to suit the size of the viewing environment it appears in without distorting the page content. This is great for all the new ways of viewing web pages on smart phones or a tablet, ensuring your message is still accessible.
