A dental website with real pulling power

York Place Dental came to H&P with the brief of redesigning their website. The current website had become dated and had little traffic and consequently lead to few enquiries. The aim was to get more people visiting the website by improving it’s Google search performance and getting more new patient enquiries by updating the look and content of the site.

The website we have created for York Place Dental is modern, light and bright. It is colourful and patient friendly both in the language used and in layout. This reflects their existing brand identity and practice ethos perfectly.

The practice is very much focused on the patient journey and patient comfort. They want the patient to feel they can trust the practice and team and that treatment and care will be delivered to the best quality. To emphasise this point we have used friendly, approachable language such as “We will work with you” and “Every smile is personal”, giving the patient confidence that they will be treated as an individual with treatment plans tailored to suit their needs.

Users are greeted with questions throughout the site such as “Are you looking for” teamed with patient statements, for example “I want to feel more confident”. We have incorporated this into the design in the hope that patients will engage with this strategy and the questions may answer their needs and concerns without the hard sell approach.

The website is decorated with beautiful interior practice imagery which really helps to separate the site from competing practices. It makes it unique and also gives the patient more of an insight into the look and feel of the practice prior to their visit. This is a positive advantage over competitors and may give patients more confidence to contact the practice.

The website enables the patients to book appointments online and also actively promotes social network communication as not just a place to post information but also a source for patients to contact the practice directly. They may find this a more comfortable platform to communicate.

The site was built with integrated SEO and is performing well in Google searches with page one results for Carlisle and surrounding areas.
