Confident and creative logo design
After creating the new website for the IMPT (Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists & Technologists), they asked H&P to design a logo for their 50 year anniversary international congress meeting in Birmingham.
Maxillofacial Prosthetics deals with patients requiring treatment after a traumatic injury, cancer surgery or defects from birth causing malformation. The IMPT suggested creating a logo based on an abstract style image of a face to reflect in some way what the IMPT do.
The logo is to be used on a variety of items for both print and web and so needed to be bold and powerful in appearance.
We have created an original, dynamic logo for the event, which is creative and abstract in design without loosing professionalism. The cubist style logo is Picasso influenced and based around the idea of faces and facial features.
The striking monochrome block design makes this confident logo successful without being overpowering. We look forward to seeing it in use at the conference!
