Duffield Road Dental Care is a routine, cosmetic and referral dental practice based in Derby. They came to H&P Design with the brief of redesigning their current dated website to something that was more in keeping with the practice’s modern and professional ethos and complies with GDC guidelines.
A key addition to the redesign of the website was to give patients the ability to book an appointment or contact the practice online and also, for fellow professionals to refer their patients to the practice for specialist treatment via the website. The main purpose of the website for the practice was to promote their key treatments and also any offers available to patients.
In accordance with their brief and following their modern practice and professional ethos, the design of the site has been kept minimal in links and complicated terminology as to not detract the visitor from the key information provided. We have worked with the practice to write the website copy to reflect this, the end result being a welcoming and friendly tone with simple treatment explanations.
To personalise the site and make it unique to the practice, we have filled it with images of the practice and local area. This brand imagery is teamed with quality royalty free images to give a familiar, relaxed and comfortable feel to the pages.
Another new element to the redesign is the addition of a data collection call to action to collect visitor emails for future marketing campaigns from the practice. This is an important feature that will help the practice to grow.
As the practice is host to specialist referral services, there are also professional body logos featured at the base of the site. This adds reassurance and acknowledgement of the team’s skill and experience within the field with patients and professional alike.
